The Gestures are monotypes that deal with beauty and the nature of chance. As the images get printed and reprinted, the layers of color begin to reveal themselves through the lyrical lines created by an accidental dropping of string.
Brenton Good is currently a Lecturer in Art at Messiah College. Both a printmaker and a painter, he received an MFA from the University of Dallas in 2005. He has exhibited work nationally, with solo shows in Philadelphia, Ft. Worth, and Pasadena, as well as numerous group exhibitions.
